People choose to move into senior living communities for many reasons. Whether they’re tired of the maintenance and work that home ownership requires or they might need a little extra daily assistance, Park Place is equipped to meet a diverse set of needs and desires.

Making the Move

After you’re all set to move in, consider a few things to get ready for the transition:

  • Make sure you’ve picked out your perfect apartment.

  • Make sure all your paperwork, any financial information or deposits are all set and in order.

  • Ask for a floor plan of your new home so you can envision where to place your furniture.

  • Be sure to ask your family for help packing and getting everything ready. Label everything in a way you recognize so unpacking is easy.

  • Focus on the things you’ll need and want in your new apartment. Consider donating items you no longer need, or ask us about availability of extra storage units.

  • Agree on a day to move that allows you enough time to gather and pack your belongings. Our team members will be happy to welcome you.

  • If you need help moving, be sure to ask one of our team members about a reliable moving specialist.

A new community can be a lot to take in when you first arrive.
Make sure you find time for yourself and get settled, but also make sure to:

  • Be social

  • Be forward
